ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Courtney A. Jean attended Kent State University in pursuit of her BFA in Sound Design. She began her journey into theater and sound when at Ballenger Creek Middle School where she was assigned Sound Board Operator for Beauty and the Beast. Through this show, she fell in love with theater and sound mixing. At Tuscarora High School, she continued working in Sound Mixing on productions like Hairspray, Little Shop of Horrors, and Grease.

At Kent State University, she worked as both a Sound Designer and Sound Engineer and she graduated in May of 2018. She currently the Harry Weininger Sound Fellow at Berkeley Repertory Theatre.
