"9 to 5 is based on the 1980 movie of the same name, and features music and lyrics by Dolly Parton. It centers on the downtrodden working lives of three women, Violet, Judy, and Doralee. They all work at Consolidated Industries, which is presided over by the sexist, lecherous, and pompous, Franklin Hart." - Stage Agent

During the show 9 to 5 The Musical one of my main duties was to set up the orchestra every performance as well as striking the orchestra after every performance. Due to Porthouse being an outdoor theatre, we could not leave the microphones and equipment sitting outside every night. So when the performance was over I would move the microphones, leftover equipment, and digital snakes into one of the dressing rooms.
